Any low-heeled shoes
that tie or are snug across the top of your foot are acceptable. A smoother soled shoe rather than a waffle soled shoe will
hold the taps better.

Clogging taps float, one steel tap is attached to the bottom of the shoe
and the other steel tap is suspended under that attached tap for a crisp sound.
